KL Rahul is all set to return to international cricket with the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. According to the Times of India, the right-hand batter has gained full fitness, and he will be available for selection in the Indian team for the Continental Cup that will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
As per TOI, the 31-year-old, who underwent thigh surgery in London after suffering an injury during IPL 2023, is fit and could return to the Men in Blue squad for the Asia Cup 2023.
The Asia Cup will start on August 30 with a game between Pakistan and Nepal in Multan. India will play their opening game against Pakistan on September 2,
KL Rahul’s return is good news for India, as they are without Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer. KL has scored 1986 runs in 54 ODIs for Team India.
