He lost a 3-match series at home against New Zealand, and then lost another 2-match match against Australia. So, it seems like it might be over for Rohit. There are speculations that he will announce his retirement after the Australia tour ends, as many are now expecting him to retire.

It wouldn’t be surprising if he announces his retirement, especially since even Gautam Gambhir has suggested that he should retire.
