Sreesanth wants to play in the Indian Premier League. The veteran had given his name for the auction ahead of the 14th edition of the league but failed to make it to the final list.
He has decided to try his luck once again and would give his name for the mega auction. Sreesanth was banned from any form of cricket by the BCCI following his involvement in spot-fixing while playing for Rajasthan Royals. However, after Supreme Court’s intervention, his punishment was reduced, and the player turned up for Kerala in domestic cricket.
Sreesanth was one of the best pacers during his heydays and played a key role in India’s ICC T20 World Cup triumph in 2007.
He also featured for the Men in Blue in the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The hosts went on to clinch the title after beating Sri Lanka in the final.
