Rinku Singh held his nerves when wickets were falling around him in the first T20I between India and Australia. He struck 22 runs with the help of 4 fours to close the game in India’s favour by 2 wickets.
He is the newest finisher and many feel the southpaw is like
and Hatdik Pandya. Rinku, who hails from Aligarh, has represented the country in 6 T20Is and scored 97 runs at an average of 97.00 and an astonishing strike rate of 194.
Singh is ready to play in the ICC T20 World in 2024.
“I am ready. I don’t think about the future matches. If I get the chance, I will give my best. Be it in any format of the game, I will give my hundred percent,” he told the Times of India.
“It will be a big thing for me to play in a global tournament. I am the only cricketer from Aligarh to play for Team India and the Indian Premier League. It is my dream to be a part of the World Cup squad. I don’t know how I will react if my name comes up in the World Cup team. I will wait for that day and I am working hard for that goal.”
