Gill completed a magnificent fifty, hitting delightful strokes. He was dismissed after scoring 74 off 63 balls, laced with 6 fours and 2 sixes.

He equaled Brian Lara and Hashim Amla’s record with his 13th fifty-plus score after 30 innings as an opener in the fifty-over format.
