As per reports, a meeting was held today (January 12) between the captain, coach, and chief selector to discuss several key topics, including:

• Review of the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy
• The future of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli
• Players’ participation in domestic cricket
• Various other issues

Key Decisions:

• Rohit Sharma will remain the captain at least until the Champions Trophy (CT).
• Jasprit Bumrah’s name has been discussed as a potential future captain, provided he remains fit. He may take over the captaincy in both Tests and ODIs in the future.
• Virat Kohli will be given time, and discussions about his future will depend on his performance in the Champions Trophy.
• Senior players will be required to participate in domestic cricket.
