Former India player Aakash Chopra heaped massive praise on Hardik Pandya for his unpredictable moves in T20Is. He started the bowling with Axar Patel in the fourth T20I against the West Indies.
“It is impossible to predict what Hardik Pandya will do. He is a clever captain, and look, he went with Axar Patel in the first over of the innings, which is very rare on a flat track. He keeps everyone guessing and that is impressive,” said Aakash Chopra.
Pandya lost the toss with the West Indies deciding to bat first to take a 3-1 lead in the series. The visitors didn’t change the team, having won the previous game by 7 wickets.
India XI: S Gill, Y Jaiswal, T Varma, S Yadav, S Samson(wk), H Pandya(c), A Patel, K Yadav, Y Chahal, A Singh, M Kumar
West Indies XI: K Mayers, B King, S Hope, N Pooran (wk), R Powell (c), S Hetmyer, O Smith, J Holder, R Shepherd, A Hosein, O McCoy
