Gautam Gambhir was one of the best timers of the cricket ball: Shahid Afridi 

Shahid Afridi recently appreciated Gautam Gambhir for his timing. The former Pakistan captain came on Momin Saqib’s show. The host asked him about provoking the legendary batter on the field.

“He was a different type of a character. Even he had that kind of reputation in the Indian team. Let’s talk positive on the show,” said Afridi.

Momin asked him to say something good about Gambhir. “Gambhir was among the few India openers who were the best timers of the ball. He was very talented,” he added.

Afridi and Gambhir have a history of on-field verbal arguments during their playing days.

After retirement, the two continue to target each other and are often seen making nasty comments.
