The illusion around Ravindra Jadeja's form

Is Ravindra Jadeja’s form a worry? Jadeja isn’t in as bad a form as the illusion that has surrounded regarding his form.

He has basically batted only in one innings out of the three matches so far in this world cup. Yes, he got out on a golden ducks in that match against Pakistan but such things are bound to happen in cricket.

When it comes to his bowling, he has hardly bowled in this tournament. And has bowled well in the very limited number of overs whenever he was asked to bowl.

Can’t forget the fact that Jadeja along with Hardik and Kohli are the players who have often stepped up for India on big stages.

The stats which claims that Ravindra Jadeja has taken 0 runs, 0 wickets and 0 catches is true but what’s the sample size? How many opportunities did he get in this tournament? How many overs has he bowled?

If we look into these things, that stat would make no sense.
