Rinku Singh has the potential to represent India in 2024 T20 World Cup – Simon Katich 

With 200+ scores in the last two Twenty20 Internationals against Australia, India has proved that they are a threatening unit . As a second-string side, has managed to take on the Australian bowlers. Rinku Singh, has been a delight to watch.

Rinku Singh, the prominent batter for KKR, has become one of the top finishers among Indian batters. He has done well in the ongoing T20I series against Australia.

Speaking on JioCinema’s preview show, former Australian cricketer Simon Katich expressed belief that Rinku has the ability to handle the pressure of finishing for the Indian team. “He is doing everything right and it is such a specialist role,” he said. “It’s not just a simple position to step into if one has been playing at No. 4 or 5. He has been doing that consistently which is not an easy thing to do in that role.”

Katich commented on Rinku’s hitting ability, “The way he is doing it is the most impressive part because he is reacting to the ball and is not pre-meditating.”

If Rinku is able to sustain his form through the IPL, he is very much a contender for a spot in the Indian team for the World Cup.
